Job description

Summary:
Quick Hire Staffing is seeking a Temporary Production Supervisor for a project located in Highland Park. The ideal candidate will assist the plant superintendent in managing production operations to ensure efficiency and profitability. This role requires organizing manpower, materials, and equipment to meet production schedules while adhering to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise floor team during assigned shifts and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Provide hands-on training and orientation to new team members on equipment operation and safety practices.
- Maintain product quality by monitoring production lines and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Evaluate team member performance and provide guidance to help achieve productivity goals.
- Manage daily operations in compliance with standard operating procedures and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and upper management to identify and resolve any potential issues.
This is a temporary position requiring immediate availability and readiness to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive.
- High School diploma required; additional education in manufacturing or industrial management preferred.
