About the Role

Imperial Trading is hiring a Warehouse Production Supervisor to support daily warehouse production and outbound order processing at our Elmwood, Louisiana distribution facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for helping supervise assigned warehouse production areas, keeping work moving, supporting employees, and making sure customer orders are picked, processed, verified, and prepared accurately. The right candidate will be comfortable leading employees on the warehouse floor, maintaining order accuracy, supporting production goals, and stepping in to assist with the work when needed.

Sign-On Bonus: Eligible new hires may receive a $3,000.00 sign-on bonus, subject to company policy and eligibility requirements.


What You'll Do
  • Supervise and support assigned warehouse production employees during daily operations.
  • Help manage outbound order processing, including picking, stamping, cutting, display building, toting, strapping, palletizing, verification, and auditing.
  • Assign work, monitor progress, and help ensure production areas are properly staffed and operating efficiently.
  • Support accurate order processing, case and carton counts, line summaries, and related production records.
  • Assist with employee training, performance feedback, scheduling, and day-to-day issue resolution.
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including production equipment, conveyors, and stamping machines.
  • Step in to assist with production work when short staffed or when workload requires additional support.
  • Communicate clearly with employees, supervisors, and management to keep work moving and address issues.
What You'll Need
  • Experience leading, supervising, or coordinating employees in a warehouse, distribution, production, manufacturing, or similar work environment.
  • Ability to supervise approximately 10 employees and support daily production expectations.
  • Ability to follow and enforce work procedures, safety expectations, and order processing standards.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and verify production or order processing information.
  • Ability to work in an on-site warehouse environment with moving equipment, conveyors, production activity, and loud noise.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, handle materials, and assist with production work as needed.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to distinguish colors as needed for order processing, labeling, stamping, or verification work.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior warehouse, distribution center, wholesale distribution, or production leadership experience.
  • Experience with order picking, palletizing, stamping, inventory verification, or outbound shipping processes.
  • Experience training employees, assigning work, or supporting performance discussions.
