JOB TITLE: Account Manager

EMPLOYER: Nackard Pepsi, Show Low AZ

DEPARTMENT: Account Manager

REPORTS TO: Branch Manager

EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon Hire

POSITION: Full-Time, On-site, Hourly or Salary (Starting pay/range to be discussed in interview), Opportunity for additional sales incentive

SUMMARY:


This full-time position is responsible for achieving sales goals and objectives through effective selling, merchandising, servicing, and completing other related sales duties. This position supervises store merchandising and ensures all accounts are satisfied and properly serviced on a regular basis. This position is also responsible for managing and expanding business relationships with accounts, implementing strategy and sales plans for overall business development, sales, and account management.


SCHEDULE:
  • Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm (One hour lunch). Weekends as needed (For emergencies).
  • The position is responsible for writing orders for set accounts each day by the deadline set by management. Once orders are in, Account Managers are responsible for extra duties including but not limited to: Putting up displays, selling in extra items, rotating stores, placing price tags, ordering POS, and placing/hanging POS.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Increase distribution of all products and packages
  • Secure the best possible selling position for our products
  • Responsible for ensuring all shelves/racks/displays are full and rotated every sales visit
  • Responsible for utilizing sales tools to keep accurate inventory of all products inside each account
  • Write accurate orders to ensure no overstock or out-of-stock situations
  • Sell-in permanent, temporary, and promotional secondary displays
  • Ensure that discounts are used effectively to increase sales
  • Solicit placement of marketing equipment for exclusive use of Nackard Pepsi products
  • Monitor customer satisfaction
  • Identify and solicit lost, inactive, or potential new accounts on assigned route
  • Notify management of all new account opportunities so they can assist in securing the new account if needed
  • Maintain and increase shelf facings for all Nackard Pepsi products
  • Display all Nackard Pepsi products by brand according to the vertical stacking concept and current standards
  • Utilize Point-of-Purchase materials to stimulate sales
  • Report service issues using the correct tools
  • Place and maintain all POP material
  • Identify and handle any close-dated products per P.Q.I. policy
  • Communicate merchandising instructions to merchandisers
  • Make sure all โ€œselling toolsโ€ are in the sales vehicle
  • Follow correct check-out procedures
  • Drive vehicle safely, courteously, and obey all traffic regulations
    โ€ข Report all vehicle damage and required maintenance to the Mechanic and/or the Branch Manager; and keep vehicle neat/clean at all times
    โ€ข Must be able to lift product weighing at least 55 pounds
  • Attend all sales meetings
  • Various other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience not necessary, but preferred.
  • Computer skills preferred: Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Inventory Software; Order Processing Systems; Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); and Presentation software (PowerPoint).
  • Other skills required:
    • Well-developed negotiation, project and account management skills.
