Production Superintendent

Salary Up to $135,000 + Bonuses + Benefits in NE Washington

We’re looking for a hands‑on, practical leader who knows manufacturing and loves the rhythm of a wood‑products operation. If you enjoy solving real production challenges, developing people, and keeping a mill running safely and efficiently, this role is a great fit.

As Production Superintendent, you’ll guide daily operations, support supervisors, and help drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Job Responsibilities as the Production Superintendent:

  • Lead daily production activities — safety, quality, scheduling, workflow, and shipping.
  • Maintain a safe, compliant work environment and drive strong safety culture.
  • Recommend equipment and supply needs to keep the facility efficient and up‑to‑date.
  • Partner with engineering on new projects and equipment upgrades; support capital requests.
  • Prepare safety meeting content and training materials.
  • Manage budgets for your areas and ensure alignment with plant goals.
  • Mentor supervisors and build strong teamwork across departments.
  • Coordinate closely with maintenance, technical, quality, procurement, and environmental teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement and support positive change across the plant.

Requirements for this Production Superintendent role:

· Strong manufacturing knowledge and solid understanding of equipment and processes.

· Preference for at least 7 years of wood industry experience.

  • Self‑motivated, organized, and skilled at communication and problem‑solving.
  • Ability to work well with people at all levels and lead teams through growth and change.
  • Working knowledge of accounting, purchasing, engineering, and employee relations.
