Job description

Construction Project Manager

I am seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and deliver commercial construction projects from concept to completion. This full-time, exempt role reports to the Director of Construction and is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all phases of commercial construction projects
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement
  • Supervise and direct field teams (2–5 employees)
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
  • Secure permits and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Conduct progress meetings and provide updates on budget and timeline
  • Enforce safety standards and promote a safety-first culture
  • Ensure quality construction practices and adherence to company policies


Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of commercial construction project management experience (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Procore, Bluebeam, estimating & quantity takeoffs (required)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check and drug screening
