Job description

Construction Production Manager

Location: Arlington, VA

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $75,000-$95,000 base salary + performance bonus

Lead the Production Operation Behind a Growing Construction Company

DMV Foundation Solutions is a growing residential construction company specializing in foundation repair, crawlspace repair, waterproofing, and structural repair throughout Northern Virginia.

We're looking for a Construction Production Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day production operation and help us consistently deliver $250,000-$300,000+ in completed work each month.

This is a primarily office-based leadership role with regular coordination with field crews, job sites, homeowners, suppliers, and company leadership. You'll be responsible for keeping multiple crews productive, projects moving, schedules on track, and production profitable.

If you're an experienced construction professional who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and taking ownership of results, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact as the company continues to grow.

What You'll Own

You'll be responsible for the overall coordination and performance of the production department, including:

  • Own the production schedule across multiple crews and active construction projects
  • Build and manage weekly and monthly production calendars
  • Coordinate crews, materials, equipment, permits, inspections, and project requirements
  • Work closely with the Field Superintendent to keep jobs moving and resolve field issues
  • Monitor crew productivity, project progress, and production goals
  • Track monthly production revenue and department performance
  • Monitor job costing and gross profit to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Order materials and coordinate timely deliveries to job sites
  • Manage permitting and inspection requirements
  • Communicate project schedules and updates with homeowners
  • Identify potential delays early and take action before they impact customers or production
  • Coordinate project completion, closeout, and final payment collection
  • Maintain accurate production records and reporting
  • Provide weekly production updates and performance reports to company leadership
  • Identify and implement improvements to production processes, scheduling, and operational efficiency
What Success Looks Like

In this role, you'll be successful when you:

  • Keep crews consistently scheduled, productive, and prepared
  • Help the company complete $250,000-$300,000+ in production each month
  • Deliver projects on schedule and minimize avoidable delays
  • Improve production efficiency and gross profit through better planning
  • Keep homeowners informed and satisfied throughout their projects
  • Prevent material, permitting, and scheduling issues from disrupting production
  • Maintain accurate production and job-costing information
  • Build reliable systems that allow the production department to scale as the company grows
What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in residential construction, construction operations, production management, project management, restoration, remodeling, or a related field
  • Experience managing or coordinating multiple crews and active construction projects
  • Strong scheduling, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience working with field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, customers, or other construction stakeholders
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM, scheduling, or project management software
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred

Experience in one or more of the following:

  • Foundation repair
  • Crawlspace repair
  • Basement waterproofing
  • Concrete
  • Restoration
  • Roofing
  • Remodeling
  • General residential construction
  • Home improvement or home services
  • Construction permitting and inspections
  • Job costing and gross-margin management
  • Production reporting
  • English/Spanish bilingual communication
Why Join DMV Foundation Solutions?

Have a Direct Impact

Work Directly With Leadership

You'll work closely with company leadership to identify production issues, improve processes, and build systems that support the company's next stage of growth.

Build Something That Is Growing

DMV Foundation Solutions is expanding throughout Northern Virginia. As production grows, you'll have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and help shape how the production department operates.

Be Measured on Results

You'll have clear goals around production volume, scheduling, productivity, profitability, and project completion--with a performance bonus tied to results.

Benefits

  • $75,000-$95,000 base salary
  • Performance bonus
  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Career growth opportunities
  • Stable, growing company

The Person Who Will Thrive Here

You're organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership.

You don't wait for a scheduling problem, material shortage, permitting issue, or unhappy customer to become an emergency. You identify problems early, communicate clearly, and get them resolved.

You're comfortable balancing the needs of customers, crews, suppliers, and company leadership while keeping an eye on schedule, productivity, revenue, and profitability.

If you're ready to take ownership of a growing construction operation and help build a production department that can scale, we'd like to meet you.
