Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Directly supervises production employees, welders, fabricators, assemblers, machine operators, and other manufacturing personnel.
  • Supporting production supervisor to meet production and safety standards
  • Direct responsibility for all employee time tracking, payroll reporting and approval
  • Ensure production material systems are functioning properly
  • Provides leadership, coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Assists with employee development, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
  • Supervise daily production activities and shop personnel.
  • Assign work and monitor productivity to meet production schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA standards.
  • Maintain quality standards and resolve production issues.
  • Train, coach, and support production employees.
  • Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and management to improve workflow and efficiency.
  • Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs.
