We are looking for an experienced commercial roofing foreman to join our team!
Compensation: $27.00-$33.00/hr BOE
This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, skills, training and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonuses, benefits and other forms of compensation.
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Operations Manager and Field Superintendent, the role of Commercial Roofing Production Foreman is responsible for the installation, removal and replacement of commercial roofing systems. This position oversees projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of craftmanship, quality and production.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Installation and removal of various types of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, etc;
  • Supervise, direct and train roofing crews on commercial roofing sites;
  • Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines;
  • Communicate effectively with Operations team, clients, vendors and crew members;
  • Track materials, labor and job progress;
  • Enforce Company and OSHA safety standards;
  • Complete all required paperwork, electronic correspondence and attend meetings as required and;
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' experience with various commercial roofing systems, required;
  • Proven leadership or foreman experience;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, job specifications, technical procedures and/or government regulations;
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally;
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in an outdoor setting, with varying weather conditions. Regular schedule Mon-Fri, with occasional weekend shifts as needed;
  • Proven ability to train and supervise employees, with an emphasis on developing commercial roofing skills;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills;
  • Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism;
  • OSHA 10 certification. OSHA 30 strongly preferred;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English), highly desirable and;
  • Valid driver's license
Working Conditions:
  • Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and varying temperatures. General office environment with typical office machines and exposure to noise and temperature.
  • Physical Effort: Extensive sitting, standing, bending, walking, kneeling, all expected activities. Ability to climb ladders and lift more than 25 lbs. regularly, 50 lbs. on occasion.
  • Travel: Mostly local; within 1 hour of shop.
