Job Title: Night Shift Production Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Night Shift Production Manager to lead and coordinate a team of approximately 15 production employees in a fast-paced precast concrete manufacturing environment. This role involves managing the overall production process, establishing production benchmarks, coordinating mold activities, and ensuring maximum efficiency throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a team of 15 production employees in a precast concrete manufacturing environment.
  • Manage the overall production process to ensure workflow milestones are achieved.
  • Establish production benchmarks and timelines to identify and address bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate mold stripping, cleaning, oiling, and preparation activities for maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure components are staged and laid out in the proper sequence for production.
  • Oversee assembly of internal conduit structures and fabrication of reinforcement cages.
  • Monitor concrete pouring and casting operations to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Drive shift productivity by organizing workflow, manpower, and materials.
  • Track production progress and adjust priorities to meet production goals.
  • Coach and develop production employees, promoting accountability, teamwork, safety, and quality.
  • Enforce company safety standards and proper PPE usage throughout the facility.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to improve processes and support company growth.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in concrete/precast production and management.
  • in supervision or management within construction or manufacturing.
  • Strong planning, organization, and process-management skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read a tape measure.
  • Hands-on leadership style focused on workflow, efficiency, quality, and safety.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Forklift and overhead crane experience are a plus.
  • Experience leading teams in manufacturing, construction products, or similar industrial environments.

The role is based in a 200,000 square ft manufacturing facility that is not climate-controlled. The environment is dusty and dirty due to ongoing concrete pouring operations. Safety is a priority, and the facility is looking to expand its workforce from 50 to 80 employees over the next three month

This is a Permanent position based out of Massillon, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Employees are eligible for a full benefits package after 90 days (vision/medical/dental) Will have 401k offering in 2027 the company is in growth mode and employees have the opportunity to join now and build Company does not do layoffs in the winter
