Senior Production Manager
Department: Production
Reports To: Head of Production
Location: Hybrid (3 days in Culver City; 2 Remote)
Who We Want
The Sr. Production Manager is a senior production leader responsible for overseeing large-scale experiential programs for one of the agency's largest clients. This role provides strategic and operational oversight across multiple workstreams while ensuring flawless execution, financial accountability, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
While the role focuses on program-level oversight, this position is also hands-on when needed and may directly produce individual events or activations. The Sr. Production Manager serves as a key partner to account, creative, innovation, and finance teams, and acts as a trusted production lead for the client.
Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight & Leadership
โ€ข Provide end-to-end production oversight for a large, multi-faceted experiential programs
โ€ข Oversee and establish production standards, workflows, timelines, and best practices across the assigned client program
โ€ข Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across all executions
โ€ข Participate in client meetings as needed, as a senior production lead, providing clarity, confidence, and solution
โ€ข Serve as senior escalation point for production-related risks, challenges, and decision-making
Team Management & Development
โ€ข Directly manage and mentor a Production Coordinator
โ€ข Review workloads, and ensure the team is set up for success across timelines and deliverables
โ€ข Provide coaching, feedback, and performance development to grow production talent and elevate output
โ€ข Foster a collaborative, accountable, and solutions-oriented team culture
Event & Activation Production
โ€ข Produce select experiential activations as needed, owning timelines, budgets, logistics, and execution
โ€ข Oversee vendor sourcing, fabrication, staffing, permits, insurance, and on-site operations when producing directly
โ€ข Ensure all events meet safety, compliance, and quality standards
Qualifications
โ€ข Interest in gaming and anime (preferred)
โ€ข Bachelor's Degree
โ€ข 8-10+ years of experience in experiential production, event marketing, or integrated marketing environments
โ€ข Proven experience overseeing large, complex client programs with multiple workstreams
โ€ข Strong leadership experience managing and mentoring production teams.
โ€ข Deep understanding of experiential logistics, fabrication, permitting, budgeting, and on-site execution
โ€ข Experience supporting influencer or social-first campaigns strongly preferred
โ€ข Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
