Southall Church Southall Church is a healthy, multiplying church in Franklin, TN with a vision to bring the life of Jesus to our families, neighbors and nations. We are looking are looking for a Production Director serves as the visionary and operational leader of the Production Ministry at Southall Church.
Role Summary
The Production Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of audio, video, lighting, broadcast, and production systems while building and leading teams of staff and volunteers. The Production Director creates the strategy, systems, culture, and leadership pipeline necessary to support current ministry needs and future campus expansion. The ideal candidate is a servant leader who is equally passionate about people, technology, and the local church.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the leader for Southall's production environments by leading, developing, and shepherding the production staff, volunteers, and leaders.
  • Recruit, train, and build healthy, high-capacity production teams.
  • Champion the vision, culture, and philosophy of production ministry.
  • Oversee all production environments, ensuring excellence in services, events, and ministry gatherings.
  • Develop and maintain scalable systems, workflows, and standards that support church-wide consistency and growth.
  • Provide leadership for all production technology, including audio, video, lighting, networking, and infrastructure.
  • Lead production projects, technology upgrades, and future expansion initiatives.
  • Partner with ministry leaders to create distraction-free environments that help people take next steps in their walk with Jesus.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative, Worship and Communications Teams.
  • Steward production resources through effective budgeting, planning, and strategic technology investments.
  • Learn from pacesetters in production space by learning from other churches and ministry leaders.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications
  • Fulfill the membership requirements of Southall Church (commit to model joyful generosity by tithing)
  • Strong and growing personal commitment to Jesus Christ
  • 5+ years of production leadership experience in a church, live event, or comparable environment
  • Proven experience leading teams and developing volunteers
  • Strong working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and production systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously

Technical Proficiencies (not required, but a plus if you know!)
  • DiGico-console, Waves audio processing, Protools (DAW), Smaart (audio measurements), Klang (inears), Roland Reac (band mixers), Dante (basic certifications), Performance manager (pa arrays), Dobly Lake (pa dsp) , Jandz vista (lighting software), Resolume (led wall), ProPresenter
