Job description

Apple TV is seeking a world-class production executive for the pivotal leadership role of Head
of Series Production. This executive will be a primary architect and leader in executing the
physical production strategy for our globally significant slate of original series. This is a
mission-critical role responsible for overseeing productions of unprecedented scale and quality, ensuring that our content ambitions are realized to the highest standard, on schedule, and on budget, in full alignment with the Apple brand.
This position requires an individual with a demonstrated history of extraordinary ability and a
distinguished reputation in the entertainment industry. You will be responsible for providing
senior executive oversight from the earliest stages of development and packaging through to
final delivery, commanding a portfolio of high-profile projects in collaboration with Award-winning talent and premier production partners. This is a unique opportunity to build
and lead within a new paradigm of studio filmmaking.
Description
Reporting to the Head of Physical Production for Apple TV, the Head of Series Production will
be ultimately accountable for the successful execution of our entire current series slate. This is not a role for maintaining the status quo; it requires an individual with extraordinary judgment,
creative problem-solving skills, and the proven ability to pioneer new production
methodologies.
You will direct a team of production executives and serve as the central hub for
all physical production matters, providing critical guidance to our creative, finance, legal, and
post-production partners. Your leadership will be instrumental in establishing Apple TV as the
premier destination for the world's most visionary content creators.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience as a Producer and/or Production
Executive, culminating in a senior executive role (e.g., VP, SVP, Head of Production) at a major
global studio, streaming service, or production company of distinguished reputation.
Direct experience managing an annual production slate
A portfolio of work that includes multiple projects recognized by major awards bodies.
Unmatched proficiency in analyzing and vetting budgets and schedules; mastery of Movie
Magic Budgeting/Scheduling, Word, and Excel is required.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent distinguished experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree
