Job Description

At YuMe, we don’t just make products; we create must-have moments for fans and collectors. We are looking for a Sales Manager who lives at the intersection of professional strategy and fan culture. You will own the growth for our Collector Division across Amusement, Independent Retail, Grocery, and Drugstore channels, transforming high-end licensed products into retail experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales & Forecasting

  • Project & Protect: Develop annual sales quotas and project volume/profit for both evergreen favorites and new product launches.
  • Pricing Architecture: Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring market competition, and the delicate balance of supply and demand in the collector space.
  • Pipeline Management: Lead rigorous pipeline meetings and provide senior leadership with high-level insights into sales metrics and team performance.

Channel & Brand Elevation

  • Retail Execution: Spearhead the development of sales support materials and optimized customer strategies that make our products stand out in specialized channels.
  • Product Lifecycle Collaboration: Work directly with Operations and Marketing teams to improve the overall product distribution. Your boots on the ground feedback will shape future product development and brand strategies.
  • Global Alignment: Coordinate with sales teams in North America to ensure a unified brand statement.

Leadership & Presence

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with sales, marketing and operations team and outside sales reps to ensure peak performance and professional growth.
  • Trade Show: Represent YuMe at major industry events (Toy Fair, Licensing Expo, etc.), ensuring every interaction drives measurable sales performance.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in retail-related sales within the toy or consumer products industry. You must have a track record of selling to National Chains.
  • The "Collector" Edge: A deep understanding of the collector market is a significant plus.
  • Analytical Prowess: Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint are your best friends) with strong analytical skills and EDI experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Advertising, or a related field preferred; or equivalent professional experience in the toy or consumer products industry.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills—you can command a room and a spreadsheet with equal ease.
