Job description

Consulting Associate, Digital Product
Digital Foundry - Tiburon, California
About Digital Foundry
For over 30 years, Digital Foundry has been a trusted partner to Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies as well as large government and public sector organizations - helping them envision, design, and build cutting-edge digital products. Based in Tiburon, California - just a short drive or ferry ride from San Francisco - our team specializes in creating high-impact custom software solutions that drive business transformation.
We work across industries, delivering web and mobile applications, AI-powered platforms, connected physical-AI solutions, and enterprise-grade digital ecosystems. From strategy to execution, we help clients navigate complex challenges and bring their most ambitious digital initiatives to life.
Our approach goes beyond just development - we offer a full suite of consulting services that bridge product strategy, experience design, and engineering execution. Whether it's defining a product roadmap, designing seamless user experiences, or modernizing legacy systems, we bring deep expertise and a collaborative, high-touch approach to every engagement.
That's where you come in.
About the Role
We're seeking a Consulting Associate, Digital Product to help deliver successful client engagements alongside our senior engagement leads. You'll be the hands-on delivery partner on major enterprise and public-sector programs - capturing requirements, keeping cross-functional teams moving, and producing the polished, high-value outputs our clients expect.
This is a growth role. You'll start by owning the day-to-day delivery mechanics of an engagement, and - with mentorship from some of our most experienced consultants - develop over time toward leading delivery on a major account. It's the ideal path for someone early in their consulting career who wants to become a well-rounded digital product professional: someone who not only manages a backlog, but learns to shape what gets built, bring clients along, and use modern AI tooling to raise the quality and speed of everything we deliver.
If you have a passion for digital products, enjoy working shoulder-to-shoulder with cross-functional teams, and want to grow into a consulting leader, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients and senior engagement leads to gather, document, and refine needs and business requirements into clear, build-ready direction
  • Own the day-to-day delivery mechanics of an engagement: backlog hygiene, scope tracking, sprint prep, and publishable-quality deliverables
  • Help keep cross-functional Agile teams (designers, developers, business leads) aligned and moving
  • Support and maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, and requirements
  • Build and use AI-augmented delivery workflows - applying tools like Copilot, Gemini, Claude and agent-based approaches to accelerate requirements, documentation, and prototyping
  • Prepare clear, executive-level presentations and documentation that communicate progress and recommendations
  • Support the design and facilitation of product strategy and design workshops, growing toward leading them yourself
  • Contribute to Digital Foundry's consulting practice through process improvement and knowledge sharing
You Are
  • A Clear Communicator - You can explain complex ideas simply, in writing and in the room, and adapt to your audience.
  • AI-Native - You already use AI tools in your daily work and are eager to design smarter, faster ways of delivering.
  • Organized and Rigorous - You keep the details straight, treat every deliverable as a demo moment, and don't let things slip.
  • A Fast Learner - You pick up new domains, tools, and technical concepts quickly enough to hold an intelligent conversation about them.
  • Collaborative - You work well with diverse teams and raise the standard around you.
  • Agile-Minded - You understand Agile and Scrum and how to keep projects moving efficiently.
Why Join Digital Foundry?
  • A Real Growth Path - Start alongside our most experienced consultants and develop toward leading delivery on a major account, with mentorship built in
  • Work at the Frontier of AI-Powered Delivery - Help define how modern consulting gets done
  • Strong Benefits - Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with employer match
  • Work-Life Balance - Up to three weeks of PTO in your first year
  • Innovative, Collaborative Culture - Join a team that values creativity, problem-solving, and growth
  • Exciting Client Work - Contribute to impactful projects with Fortune 500 and major public-sector clients
Compensation
Compensation at Digital Foundry varies based on factors such as location, role, skills, experience, and market conditions. In compliance with California's pay transparency laws, Digital Foundry provides a reasonable target base salary range for this role of $70,000 - $90,000 per year. Total compensation may also include performance-based bonuses, benefits, and other incentives.
Location & Work Environment
This is a 5-day a week, on-site role based in our Tiburon, CA office - a short commute from San Francisco via ferry or car - with regular travel to client sites as engagements require. We believe collaboration and innovation thrive in a dynamic, in-person environment.
Thank you for your interest in Digital Foundry. We look forward to hearing from you!
