We are working with a multi-site manufacturer that is seeking a Production Planning Manager to lead production planning and inventory strategy across multiple manufacturing facilities. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with operations, procurement, customer demand planning, and executive leadership to ensure efficient production schedules, inventory optimization, and on-time delivery performance.

This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on planning processes, operational performance, and future ERP implementation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead production planning activities across multiple manufacturing facilities
  • Manage inventory levels, raw material planning, and production schedules
  • Balance customer demand, manufacturing capacity, and inventory objectives
  • Partner closely with procurement, operations, and supply chain teams
  • Drive process improvements and planning efficiencies across the organization
  • Establish a strong presence within plant operations through regular site visits

Required

  • 5+ years of manufacturing production planning experience
  • Experience managing inventory, raw materials, and end-to-end production planning
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain processes
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments and facilities
  • Experience managing large SKU counts and complex manufacturing environments
