As a result of our continuing expansion and continued organization growth, we are looking for a motivated Production Planning Assistant to join our team.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planning Assistant to support our Production Planning team. This role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and distributing production documentation, across multiple facilities. This role ensures that all departments have accurate and up-to-date information to support ongoing manufacturing operations.
This position plays a critical role in keeping production running smoothly by managing documentation workflows, handling engineering changes (ECNs), and coordinating across departments and locations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create and compile production paperwork packets for multiple departments
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and tailored to the needs of each department
  • Distribute production packets to multiple facilities and coordinate delivery
  • Review and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), ensuring updates are correctly applied to active production documentation
  • Replace drawings and documents in existing production packets, based on ECNs
  • Prioritize workload based on production schedules and deadlines
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all locations have the required documentation to maintain production flow
  • Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes and efficiency
Qualifications Required
  • Experience in an administrative or manufacturing support role
  • Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • A service-oriented approach to internal (production) stakeholders.
Preferred
  • Familiarity with Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
  • Experience handling production documentation / engineering drawings
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Proficiency with Excel, Adobe, SharePoint, or Smartsheet
