Production Planning Assistant
Essner is seeking a detail-oriented individual to organize and release documents to the shop floor in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate has interest in and/or has worked with blueprints and technical documents. Preferably in manufacturing or warehouse environments with documented successes in following processes and procedures.

Worth, TX supplying precision CNC machining and sheet metal components as well as complex sub-assemblies to commercial aerospace and defense industries. Reports to
Production Planner
Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate the release of Production:
    • Review ERP for Schedules, Material Inventory, and System Accuracy:
      • Prioritization of job release based on demand
      • Coordinate material receipts with job releases
      • Prepare required documentation for production
    • Continuous Improvement and Accuracy:
      • Organize file structure and/or documents as needed
      • Verify documentation meets Engineering and Customer Requirements
      • Streamline the Release processes as needed
    • Support Production Planning:
      • Preparation of standard reports
      • Act as backup for Production Scheduler, as needed
      • Ad-hoc production support
  • Document Control Support
    • Gather Revision Controlled Documents as needed
    • Obsoleting Documents at the Direction of Quality/Production Planner etc...
  • General Admin Duties
    • Reception for Walk-ins and appointments
    • Maintain Visitor Logs

Basic Qualification:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
