Greenwood Fabricating & Plating is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Production Planning Manager to lead scheduling and production coordination activities in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer priorities, production schedules, materials planning, and cross-functional communication to keep operations running smoothly and customers satisfied.

What You'll Do
  • Manage production scheduling and planning activities to meet customer delivery commitments
  • Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure material availability and production readiness
  • Monitor production timelines and proactively address scheduling delays or bottlenecks
  • Communicate lead times, order updates, and scheduling information to customers and internal teams
  • Maintain and adjust production schedules based on changing priorities and customer demands
  • Help drive efficiency improvements within production planning and scheduling processes
  • Coordinate outside services and vendors to ensure project timelines stay on track
  • Support inventory control and material flow activities
  • Assist with special projects, rework scheduling, and production issue resolution
  • Participate in production and scheduling meetings with internal teams and customers
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing scheduling, production planning, customer service, or operations coordination, other levels of experience may be evaluated
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Sage, Syteline, Visual, Oracle, or similar
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Prior experience with inventory control and production planning preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required
