Material Control Lead - Warehouse Operations
Are you an experienced warehouse or material control professional who knows forklifts, SAP, and how to get things done?
kdc/one is looking for a Material Control Lead to help lead and develop our warehouse team. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows material movement, enjoys working with people, and can help ensure our Forklift Operators and Material Coordinators have the skills and knowledge to be successful.
You'll spend your time working alongside the team, providing hands-on training and coaching, supporting daily operations, and helping maintain safe, accurate, and efficient material flow.
Full-Time | mostly days but willing to work some nights/weekends
Pay: $23.75 - $28.00/hour
What You'll Do
  • Provide hands-on training and coaching to Forklift Operators and Material Coordinators.
  • Train employees on SAP and Material Control processes.
  • Train and support employees in the safe operation of Raymond equipment, including Reach Truck, Stand-Up Forklift, and Turret Truck.
  • Help onboard new employees and ensure they are prepared to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Observe employee performance and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Work with Supervisors and Managers to identify training needs and improve employee performance.
  • Maintain training records, certifications, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Help ensure Material Control processes are followed accurately and consistently.
  • Support safety, organization, and continuous improvement throughout the warehouse.
  • Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who knows warehouse operations and knows how to work with people.
  • Previous experience in Material Control, Warehouse, Distribution, or Manufacturing.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP.
  • Experience operating Raymond forklifts/material handling equipment.
  • Experience with Reach Truck, Stand-Up Forklift, and/or Turret Truck.
  • Previous experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or training employees.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and follow through on assignments.
  • Someone who takes ownership and leads by example.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working around forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
  • Must wear required PPE, including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hairnet.
