Position Summary
The Production Planning Manager / Master Scheduler is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive production schedules that align customer demand, inventory objectives, and manufacturing capacity across Tuuci’s global operations.
This role serves as the critical link between sales forecasts and production execution, ensuring optimal resource utilization while consistently meeting delivery commitments in Make-to-Order (MTO), Assemble-to-Order (ATO), and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain master production schedules across all product lines, balancing customer requirements with manufacturing capacity and material availability
  • Lead production planning for MTO, ATO, and ETO environments, including custom shade structures, parasols, cabanas, and pergolas

  • Act as architect of the digital planning environment by optimizing ERP logic, parameters, and automation to support complex workflows
  • Strategically configure and continuously optimize CSI SyteLine MRP and Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) modules (safety stock, lead times, lot sizes, time fences)
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards; audit Item Masters, BOMs, and Routings to ensure clean, accurate planning data
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual planning activities, eliminating reliance on spreadsheets
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ERP usage within the planning function
  • Train cross-functional teams (Procurement, Production, Sales) on proper system usage to ensure accurate data flow and financial integrity
  • Serve as primary liaison with IT and external consultants for ERP upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting
  • Ensure production transactions (work orders, material issues, labor reporting, inventory adjustments) are accurately configured to post to the correct General Ledger accounts
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Service to establish realistic delivery commitments and manage customer expectations
  • Monitor production KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with Procurement to align material availability with production schedules while minimizing inventory carrying costs
  • Collaborate with Engineering to integrate new product introductions and engineering changes into planning processes
  • Lead demand forecasting and contribute to capacity planning and capital investment decisions
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to implement best practices in production planning and system enhancements
  • Support new product launches and special projects requiring complex scheduling coordination
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on production performance, capacity utilization, and delivery metrics
Education & Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning and master scheduling
  • Proven experience in MTO, ATO, and ETO manufacturing environments
  • Strong proficiency with integrated ERP systems and planning modules
  • Deep technical understanding of MRP/APS logic and parameter configuration
  • Experience with demand forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities and cross-functional influence

  • Advanced Excel and data analytics skills
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
  • Experience supporting global or multi-site manufacturing operations
