While focused primarily on analytics delivery and stakeholder enablement, this role will also contribute to the development of scalable analytical datasets and reporting foundations.

We're looking for someone who enjoys both analytical problem solving and building durable reporting solutions-not just answering questions, but creating systems that make answers easier to access over time. A successful hire will be comfortable moving between stakeholder conversations, SQL development, dashboard design, metric definition, and collaborative data modeling work.

  • Improve stakeholder access to data through scalable reporting solutions, analytical investigations, stakeholder training, documentation, and self-service analytics initiatives.
  • Contribute to data model development, metric definition, and business logic within dbt, helping ensure business requirements are accurately represented in shared analytics foundations and scalable reporting assets.
  • Serve as the analytics owner for sales compensation reporting, ensuring incentive metrics are accurate, auditable, and aligned with defined business rules. Partner with Finance and Sales leadership on compensation-related analyses and quarterly executive reporting.
  • Own business-facing reference data and operational analytics assets, including mapping tables, reporting definitions, data validations, and stakeholder documentation.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define, document, and maintain business metrics, ensuring reporting reflects agreed-upon definitions and business processes.
  • Measure and improve the effectiveness of reporting solutions by tracking usage, gathering stakeholder feedback, monitoring adoption, and driving continuous improvements to analytics products. Prioritize reporting enhancements and consumption-layer initiatives based on stakeholder impact, business priorities, and team capacity.
  • Validate the accuracy and consistency of business-facing metrics and reporting outputs, partnering with the analytics technical lead to identify data quality issues and improve trust in analytical products.

Experience You'll Bring

Required
  • Based in Alameda, the team comes into the office 4 days a week.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, preferably in the commercial side of a business.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including experience developing complex transformations and contributing to shared analytical datasets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau, including dashboard performance optimization, LOD expressions, parameter actions, and designing scalable reporting experiences.
  • Experience working with modern analytics platforms and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Strong foundation in statistical analysis, experimental design, forecasting, trend analysis, and translating quantitative findings into business recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-changing environments, driving analytical work end-to-end from problem framing through implementation and iteration.
  • Solid grasp of data modeling principles, including the ability to define metrics, enforce business logic, and contribute meaningfully to the design of analytical datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings to non-technical audiences and influence strategic decisions with data-backed recommendations.
  • Proven ability to navigate competing stakeholder priorities, adapt to rapidly changing business needs, drive alignment across functions, and engage effectively in cross-functional environments.
  • Ability to scope, structure, and solve ambiguous problems from end to end by creating clear analysis plans.
  • Willingness to own critical reporting processes while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and automation.
Preferred
  • A track record of taking data from stakeholder workflows in the Microsoft Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint) and finding ways to streamline reporting processes.
