Title: Sales Engineering Manager

Grade: M3

Location: Atlanta, GA | Full-Time

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Execute a comprehensive strategic vision for Retail solution sales across the Americas that aligns with overall corporate objectives and growth targets
  • Hiring, leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Sales Engineers to achieve substantial business growth, ensuring that they have the tools, resources and training to achieve key sales targets in partnership with solution specialists and sales teams
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with clients, industry leaders, and collaborating internally across departments to align solution offerings with market demands
  • Maintain and develop existing and new offerings through appropriate and relevant internal liaisons, to optimize business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Plan and prioritize opportunities for utmost productivity and efficiency Assist Sales Engineers in partnering with Professional Services on opportunities after forming a clear solution plan
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor's activities
  • Manage a group of Sales Engineers that cover Mid-Market and Channel retail clients
  • Partner with sales team from Client Directors (farming existing accounts) and Business Development Reps (hunting new accounts) to prioritize work and focus on technical needs to close and grow our business
  • Work with our sales specialist team to ensure we focus resources on client and sales technical concerns to grow

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years as People manager
  • 3+ years of experience in Retail Industry
  • Proven ability to lead complex sales cycles, build relationships with C-level executives, and negotiate multi-million-dollar contracts
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Willingness to travel frequently in the defined region for both client and industry events


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated & self-driven motivated passion for the industry and products
  • Keen understanding of the containerization and virtualization market, preferably a deep understanding of Edge computing in retail settings
  • Proven experience in SaaS and leading solution-based sales initiatives
  • Public Cloud certifications
  • Experience with Food Drug Mass-Merchandise and Department and Specialty Store retailer and partners
  • Ability to develop and drive strategic partnerships and alliances
  • Expertise in presenting and selling technical products to diverse audiences
  • Adaptable to change in a fast-moving environment
