Role Description The Technical Sales Support role is a full-time, on-site position located in Philadelphia, PA. This role provides day-to-day support to the sales team and customers by answering technical product questions, assisting with equipment specifications, and preparing quotes and proposals. Responsibilities include troubleshooting basic technical issues, coordinating with engineering and service teams, and ensuring accurate documentation of customer requirements. The Technical Sales Support specialist will respond to inquiries via phone and email, maintain CRM records, and help manage order status and follow-up. This role also supports product demonstrations, training sessions, and helps identify opportunities to improve customer experience and sales processes.


Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Sales Support and Sales Operations skills to assist the sales team with product selection, quoting, and order processing.
  • Solid Technical Support capabilities to understand equipment specifications, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate solutions with internal teams.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact clearly and professionally with customers, sales representatives, and colleagues.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings, and specifications related to commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office (especially SalesForce, Excel, and Outlook), and basic data entry and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple inquiries and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, or foodservice equipment is preferred; prior technical or inside sales support experience is beneficial.
  • High School Diploma or Associate's Degree in a technical, business, or related field is advantageous, or equivalent practical experience.
  • "Can do!" attitude that places customers first.
  • Five (5) years of previous professional experience in a support, technical, admin, or clerical role.
