Description
Provide sales support to customers and Basler field sales offices utilizing technical knowledge of Basler products and their application.
Reports to: Technical Sales Support & Product Training Manager
Essential Duties
  • Assist customers in the proper selection of Basler products, installation, calibration, and minor troubleshooting.
  • Travel, as required, to determine product potentials, customer needs, and assist in the sale of products.
  • Maintain proper communication with assigned sales territories to ensure that sales support is provided as may be required in sales plans.
  • Arrange and conduct meetings with customers at Basler headquarters.
  • Present Basler products, systems, and problem solutions to customers at conferences as scheduled by sales personnel.
  • Assist in promotion activities including trade shows.
  • Interface and communicate with marketing personnel to provide market feedback for successful product specifications and development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technology preferred.
  • Strong technical and diagnostic skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum one year experience on all Basler products preferred.
  • Willingness to travel into assigned territories.

Compensation
We anticipate filling the Technical Sales Support Specialist position with an expected compensation range of $68,000 - $76,000. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. Starting pay and job title are based on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
