Aman at Sea

Plantation, FL โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Job description

Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Financial Analyst, Revenue Management to support the development and optimization of revenue strategies for our highly anticipated luxury yacht experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team and play a key role in the launch and growth of a new concept in ultra-luxury travel. This role will work closely with Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Commercial Operations to analyze demand, monitor booking performance, optimize pricing and inventory, and identify opportunities to maximize revenue across Aman at Sea's voyages and commercial channels.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with commercial curiosity and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality and travel, is comfortable working with data, skilled at uncovering trends and asking thoughtful questions, and able to translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations that drive business decisions.
As part of a lean and growing organization, this role offers significant cross-functional exposure and a meaningful opportunity to shape Aman at Sea's revenue management practices as the brand comes to life.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze booking trends, revenue performance, occupancy, pricing, and inventory across voyages, itineraries, cabin categories, and booking channels.
  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly booking curves to monitor booking pace, demand patterns, and changes in customer behavior.
  • Support the analysis and optimization of pricing strategies based on itinerary, cabin category, demand, booking pace, market conditions, and applicable currency.
  • Assist in developing pricing recommendations for MICE and private yacht charters, taking into consideration itinerary customization, accommodation standards, group size, duration, and overall commercial value.
  • Monitor inventory and booking performance and identify opportunities to optimize cabin availability, mix, and yield.
  • Prepare analysis and materials for regular inventory and revenue meetings, highlighting key trends, opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Conduct competitive pricing and market analysis to understand positioning, identify market trends, and support Aman at Sea's premium market strategy.
  • Assist with demand forecasting and revenue projections using historical performance, booking pace, current demand, and relevant market intelligence.
  • Identify variances to revenue and booking targets and support the development of strategies to address performance opportunities and gaps.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to understand campaign activity, customer demand, booking trends, and commercial performance.
  • Provide analytical insights to support pricing, promotional, inventory, and distribution decisions.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Commercial Operations to ensure consistency and accuracy of revenue-related reporting and analysis.
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue management processes, reporting, forecasting, and analytical tools.
  • Support the development of new reporting and analytical capabilities as Aman at Sea continues to build its commercial infrastructure.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in revenue management, commercial analytics, pricing, forecasting, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Cruise industry experience is required. Candidates should have a demonstrated understanding of cruise revenue management, including booking patterns, cabin inventory, pricing, demand forecasting, and yield optimization.
  • Experience with luxury cruise is strongly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Experience working with multiple itineraries, cabin categories, booking channels, and international markets is preferred.
  • Experience in a start-up, entrepreneurial, or fast-paced environment is a plus.

Skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to identify meaningful trends and translate data into commercial insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and demonstrated ability to work confidently with large datasets and analytical models.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence, data visualization, revenue management, or forecasting systems is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of-or demonstrated interest in-revenue management principles, including demand forecasting, booking pace, pricing, inventory optimization, and yield.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make complex information accessible and compelling.
  • Commercially curious with a genuine interest in understanding why performance is changing, not simply reporting what has changed.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working across functions.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to challenge assumptions constructively.
  • Comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment where priorities may evolve and team members are expected to contribute beyond their immediate area of responsibility.
