Job Description
The Revenue Operations Intern gains hands-on experience supporting Tricon's Revenue Operations teams across occupancy, pricing, collections, and resident retention. They get exposure to the operational and financial drivers of a large-scale single-family rental portfolio working with business intelligence tools, market analytics, forecasting models, and operational performance metrics.
The intern gains practical skills through cross functional department collaboration: analyzing portfolio performance, identifying revenue opportunities, evaluating resident and leasing trends, and supporting strategic initiatives that improve occupancy, rental income, resident retention, and operational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.
  • Assist with analysis of key revenue and operational performance metrics, including occupancy, leasing velocity, resident retention, rent growth, and delinquency.
  • Support the Revenue Management team in evaluating pricing strategies for new leases and renewals across multiple markets.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis on rental housing trends, supply and demand conditions, and local market performance.
  • Analyze resident lifecycle data, including applications, move-ins, renewals, transfers, and move-outs, to identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvement.
  • Support forecasting and scenario-planning initiatives by evaluating the impact of pricing, occupancy, retention, and operational decisions on future revenue performance.
  • Assist in validating and maintaining data used within revenue management, business intelligence, and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Revenue Management, Sales, Finance, and Analytics on strategic projects.
  • Participate in special projects focused on process improvement, operational efficiency, and technology-enabled decision making.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and executive-ready summaries highlighting findings, recommendations, and business impacts.
  • Gain exposure to large-scale single-family rental operations, portfolio management, and institutional real estate investment strategies.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests.

Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn in an ultra-fast-moving environment
  • Basic understanding of real estate, economics and/or operations
  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and digital tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

Minimum Requirements:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
