Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) offers strategic insight and financial solutions for businesses, municipalities and nonprofits throughout the U.S. Working in C&IB provides you the opportunity to be exposed to multiple disciplines of banking, enabling you to hone your financial and client-facing skills across many industries and develop deep understanding of PNC's product suite.

As a Commercial & Corporate Banking intern, your primary rolewill be to support experienced bankers in their engagement with PNC's client base. The program enables you toobserveand explore advising, managing, and servicing customer relationships in a variety of business segments, including:

  • Commercial Banking -Serves and advises companies with annual revenues between $20million and $100million.

  • Corporate Banking -Serves and advises companies with annual revenuein excess of$100million.

  • Healthcare- Servesand advises for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare and healthcarerelated companies.

  • Specialty Industries- Serves andadvisesbusinesses andorganizations inspecific industries such as Food and Beverage, Technology, Chemicals and Plastics,HealthSI, and more.

  • Public Finance -Serves andadviseslocal or major government entities, higher educationinstitutionsand not-for-profits.

Participates as an intern in the PNC summer internship program.

  • Supports the core activities of the client team and line of business by applying knowledge to drive business results (e.g., deal, sales, process support, internal or external customer interaction, or supporting internal projects).
