Job Location: Houston, TX or Wickliffe, OH preferred following 4 day on site, 1 flex day schedule. Also open to remote anywhere else in the United States where Lubrizol operates.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a HRIS Workday Systems Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving enhancements, configuration, and optimization of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) to support our manufacturing-focused workforce. You'll collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless digital experiences that align with our HR technology roadmap and business goals. In this role, you will:

  • Apply technical knowledge of Workday modules including Core HCM, Lifecycle Management, Talent Optimization, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, Workforce Planning, Help, and Journeys.
  • Maintain and configure business processes, validations, condition rules, notifications, and eligibility rules.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and collaborate with Workday Support, implementation partners, and vendors.
  • Partner with integration teams to resolve issues involving EIBs, Cloud Connects, Studio integrations, and downstream systems.
  • Ensure Workday configuration aligns with the ERP system's worker data, cost structures, and financial mappings.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions and guide HR partners through system changes.
  • Support regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across interconnected systems.
  • Maintain documentation, functional specifications, job aids, and change logs while supporting data governance.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3+ years Workday configuration experience
    Workday configuration expertise (Core HCM plus at least two additional modules)
  • Ability to troubleshoot cross-platform issues involving Workday and complex ERP systems
  • Strong consultative problem-solving skills
  • Data quality discipline and understanding of integration flows
  • Project management or organizational change management skills (certification a plus)
  • Ability to lawfully work in the United States without needing sponsorship, now or in the future
