Remote Records & Information Coordinator
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Location: Remote (United States)
Pay: $26.00-$38.00 per hour (Depending on experience, qualifications, and location)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Records & Information Coordinator to support the accurate management of company records, electronic documents, and business information. This role is responsible for maintaining digital filing systems, processing documentation, coordinating electronic records, and ensuring information is organized, secure, and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with internal departments. Comprehensive paid training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals with administrative, records management, data entry, or document coordination experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate electronic records, files, and document repositories.
  • Organize, classify, and update digital records in accordance with company procedures.
  • Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before processing.
  • Process incoming electronic correspondence and distribute information to the appropriate departments.
  • Retrieve, archive, and securely store company records while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assist with document retention schedules and records lifecycle management.
  • Update internal databases and maintain accurate records of document activity.
  • Support internal teams by locating and providing requested documentation.
  • Prepare reports and maintain logs related to records management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding document security and confidentiality.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives that enhance records accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus but not required.
  • Previous experience in records management, administrative support, document control, data entry, or office administration is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Commitment to handling confidential information with discretion.
Technical Requirements
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Google Workspace or similar cloud-based applications is helpful.
