The Senior Strategic Alliance Manager, Indian GSIs opportunity
As the Sr. Strategic Alliance Manager - Indian SIs you will play a critical role in building and expanding our relationships with large Indian Global System Integrators (GSIs). This is a strategic position that requires a blend of leadership, technical acumen and business insight.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement partnership strategies with a named group of Indian GSIs to grow their Okta practice
- Work closely with regional sales leaders globally to drive initiatives and foster collaborative relationships
- Own the annual partnership planning process, including joint investments, target customers, pipeline and execution plans
- Establish a regular rhythm of business and executive interlocks to ensure alignment and mutual success
- Identify and outline key areas of opportunity and growth within the partnership framework
- Begin as an individual contributor with a focus on building the foundation for these strategic alliances, and be able to quickly scale to manage a team, providing leadership and understanding the nuances of global-to-local dynamics
What you'll bring to the role & what we're looking for
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in building alliances with Global Systems Integrators (co-marketing, investment strategies, practice creation, product/solution development).
- Deep and recent experience working within the Indian GSI landscape. You MUST have existing relationships with entities including but not limited to: Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and HCL.
- Proven experience in strategic alliance management, preferably in the security sector.
- Strong business acumen and technical knowledge relevant to identity and access management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate at the executive level.
- Ability to set strategy, plan effectively, and drive execution.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
