About the Role 

The Senior Salesforce Administrator supports our existing Salesforce org, drives process improvements, and helps our teams take full advantage of Salesforce's capabilities. As a team of one, this critical role within the organization enables the success of our client-facing teams. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will manage the organization's Salesforce CRM systems to include maintenance and enhancements, data reporting, and employee training. Plan and oversee Salesforce projects to improve organizational performance and efficiency. Apply knowledge of Salesforce capabilities and limitations to guide the organization to the best solutions. Provide guidance and training to other employees who manage products/platforms within the larger Salesforce ecosystem.  


What You'll Do 

  • Administer the organization's Salesforce CRM, including user management, role hierarchy, security/permissions, declarative automation (Flows, validation rules, page layouts, Lightning pages), custom objects/fields, and third-party app integrations. 
  • Lead Salesforce-based projects end-to-end, including business requirements gathering, scoping, documentation, testing, deployment, and project management, while effectively communicating with stakeholders throughout all phases of the project. 
  • Partner with business unit leaders to evaluate needs, optimize processes, and ensure Salesforce supports departmental and organizational goals. 
  • Develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and deliver data analysis and recommendations to senior management. 
  • Establish and maintain processes to monitor and improve data quality and integrity, including auditing, deduplication, and validation rules. 
  • Oversee change management processes, sandbox management, and deployments to ensure smooth release cycles. 
  • Manage and support integrations between Salesforce and external applications (e.g., Marketing Cloud and Pardot). 
  • Drive user adoption by creating training programs, documentation, and ongoing support resources. 
  • Collaborate with organizational leadership to define and execute a Salesforce and technology systems roadmap. 
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and industry best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

Requirements

Who Should Apply 

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, business technology, computer science or related field. 
  • Experience with data imports and migration. 
  • Experience managing lightning pages and lighting experience. 
  • Experience with sandbox and/or package management for managing change-set deployments. 
  • Familiarity with Visual and Apex, Pardot and/or Marketing Cloud, Zapier, Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Flows (building, troubleshooting, flow trigger sequencing). 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Salesforce.com administration and/or development. 
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is required. Advanced Administrator and/or Platform App Builder certifications a plus. 
  • Experience as a sole admin over a salesforce system is a plus or have the ability to work and troubleshoot independently. 

Licenses and Knowledge 

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator preferred but not required.
