Recruiting Supervisor: Chicago Office

We are a dynamic and growing workforce solutions partner specializing in task force assignments within the hospitality industry and beyond. We collaborate with hotels, resorts, and other businesses nationwide to deliver expert-level interim and long-term support. While much of our work involves travel-based roles, we also offer local assignments for those seeking opportunities closer to home.


Job Summary:

This job is located in our Chicago office, 5 days a week.

The Recruiting Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the recruiting team supporting our local staffing operations. This role oversees the full recruitment lifecycle for local client assignments, ensuring timely candidate sourcing, hiring, onboarding, and placement.

Based in our Chicago office, the Recruiting Supervisor works closely with their recruiters, HSG's onboarding specialists, and operations leadership to ensure all staffing requests are filled efficiently while maintaining strong communication with both internal teams and client partners. This position requires strong organization, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position will report to HSG's Director of Talent Acquisition and support any and all TA initiatives for the company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, organize, and support a team of recruiters and onboarding specialists
  • Oversee recruitment efforts for all local staffing orders and ensure timely fulfillment
  • Monitor recruiting pipelines, candidate flow, and hiring activity to meet staffing goals
  • Ensure prompt and professional communication with internal teams, candidates, and clients
  • Manage and prioritize open staffing requests while maintaining service standards
  • Support recruiter performance, coaching, and process improvements
  • Ensure all onboarding steps and compliance requirements are completed accurately and on time
  • Track recruiting performance metrics and maintain recruiting reports
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly staffing and recruiting reports
  • Collaborate with operations and account management teams to address staffing needs
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and organization across the recruiting team
  • Support recruiting initiatives, sourcing strategies, and hiring campaigns to strengthen candidate pipelines
  • Host job fairs and hiring events in both the Chicago office and the Munster Office

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, and or staffing leadership
  • Experience leading, organizing, and supporting recruiting or onboarding teams
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate pipeline management
  • Experience with recruiting initiatives, sourcing strategies, and hiring campaigns
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple staffing requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate reporting
  • Professional, responsive, and client-service focused mindset
  • Proficiency with ATS, CRM, or recruiting management systems
  • Ability to work on-site in the Chicago HSG office five days per week
