Job description

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Recruiting Team Lead to support our Corporate Operations located in Orlando, Florida.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading full cycle recruiting efforts to attract, engage, and hire top talent in support of organizational hiring objectives. This role serves as a senior recruiting partner to the Recruiting Manager and leadership teams. provides guidance to recruiting staff, and drives recruitment strategies to support high-volume, specialized, and hard-to-fill positions.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead full cycle recruiting efforts for exempt, non-exempt, technical, cleared, and/or specialized positions.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to review position requirements, timelines, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, Boolean searches, and recruiting databases.
  • Source and recruit passive candidates for difficult-to-fill and niche positions.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
  • Recommend process improvements to Recruiting Manager to enhance recruiting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives and hiring forecasts.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, executives, and program leadership.
  • Provide regular recruiting updates, market intelligence, and hiring status reports to leadership.
  • Advise Recruiting Manager on recruiting trends, compensation competitiveness, and candidate availability.
  • Coordinate with external staffing agencies and recruiting vendors.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

Minimum- High School Diploma

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of eight to ten (8-10) years of full cycle recruiting experience preferably within a staffing agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience handling a high-volume recruiting desk with multiple concurrent requisitions.
  • Experience recruiting for technical, professional, government contracting, or high-volume positions preferred.
  • Strong experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
  • Experience conducting advanced Boolean searches and passive candidate sourcing.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting technologies.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience supporting federal government contracting environments.
  • Knowledge of OFCCP, EEO, and affirmative action compliance requirements.
  • Experience recruiting candidates with security clearances.
  • Experience with systems such as iCIMS, Workday, Taleo, Workable, or ADP Workforce Now.
