About the Role
CrossFire Group is looking for an experienced recruiting leader to oversee team execution, accountability, and recruiting performance within a fast-paced staffing environment.
This is a true player/coach role. You will lead a team of recruiters while also maintaining personal recruiting production. We are looking for someone who has experience driving performance, managing accountability, and operating in a metrics-driven recruiting environment.
This is not an entry-level leadership opportunity. The ideal candidate will bring either:
โข 7+ years of recruiting experience within staffing or agency recruiting
OR
โข 5+ years of direct people management experience in a performance-driven environment
Candidates should be comfortable leading from the front, having direct conversations, coaching performance issues, and creating structure within a team.
What Youโll Do
โข Lead, manage, and hold a team of recruiters accountable to weekly KPIs and performance expectations
โข Maintain personal recruiting production including sourcing, outreach, screening, and submittals
โข Drive consistency across recruiting activity, pipeline management, and execution
โข Monitor team performance metrics including activities, interviews, submittals, starts, and contractor headcount
โข Coach recruiters through performance gaps and improve execution through direct feedback
โข Delegate workload and prioritize team resources based on business demand
โข Support account management and client communication as needed
โข Partner closely with leadership on team performance, hiring strategy, and operational execution
โข Build a culture of accountability, urgency, and follow-through
What Weโre Looking For
โข 7+ years of recruiting experience OR 5+ years of management experience required
โข Prior leadership experience within staffing, recruiting, sales, operations, or other metrics-driven environments strongly preferred
โข Experience managing performance metrics and holding teams accountable to results
โข Strong communication skills with the ability to be direct, clear, and solution-oriented
โข Comfortable navigating difficult conversations and performance management
โข Highly organized with strong follow-through and execution skills
โข Ability to balance leadership responsibilities while maintaining individual production
โข Thrives in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and high expectations
