Job Description

The Recruiter is responsible for all activity related to full cycle recruiting, pipelining candidates, building relationships with community partners, and assisting with HR functions. This position is responsible for using a variety of non-traditional research and sourcing techniques to identify pools of talent, alternate labor sources and community-based organizations that can contribute resources toward staffing across Houston locations. 

Job Responsibilities
  • Utilizes a variety of traditional and non-traditional sourcing techniques to identify pools of talent and source a diverse slate of candidates and non-profit organizations
  • Coordinates all recruitment and hiring activity necessary to meet pre-determined event-based staffing goals. This includes coordinating internal and external job fairs
  • Serves as liaison to corporate talent acquisition team, partnering on job postings and recruitment efforts
  • Develops recruitment budgets and tracks all recruitment-related expenditures
  • Ownership of all local recruitment marketing, networking, and advertising campaigns
  • Builds relationships with community-based organizations from which talent partnerships can be formed
  • Screens potential candidates, reviews resume, coordinates hiring events, schedules hiring managers for interviews
  • Takes ownership of the candidate experience - maintains proactive, ongoing communication with all prospective hires
  • Extends job offers, initiates background checks, schedules new hire orientation attendance and communicates details
  • Ensures all screening and hiring complies with state, local and company-specific guidelines
  • Tracks all recruitment activity, takes action and escalates any critical resource issues
  • Conducts pre-season and pre-event ramp ups with hiring managers to understand upcoming event schedule and develops recruitment strategy to address hiring needs
  • Resolves issues within the hiring process by coordinating with accounts, new hires & corporate resources
  • Communicates efficiently between account management & new hires to organize proper paperwork completion & organize onboarding
  • Responsible for monthly newsletter curation and distribution to Denver/Dallas accounts and employees
  • Ownership of the employee engagement experience by way of monthly outlines aligning with the employee engagement playbook
  • Travels within Denver area to assist accounts with recruitment & onboarding efforts
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years prior experience recruiting hourly resources in a high-volume environment required
  • Intermediate level experience working with MS Excel, Word and Outlook. Smartsheet experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities and leveraging resources to meet goals
  • Demonstrated experience meeting recruiting targets and goals
  • Experience building relationships and utilizing non-traditional approaches to source and recruit talent
  • Experience recruiting in hospitality, sports or entertainment market preferred
