Goldbelt Glacier is committed to providing transformative and comprehensive health operational capabilities to support customers across scientific, clinical, technological, and program management areas.

Summary:

The Deputy Program Manager supports the Program Manager in ensuring that all eligible Reserve Component service members are informed of transition services and benefits available under the laws administered by the Secretary of Defense and benefits and health care furnished under the laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support the Program Manager in overseeing performance of work across all locations to ensure Task Order (TO) compliance and quality control
  • Assist in monitoring operational activities to ensure adherence to contractual requirements and performance standards
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions as needed
  • Observe and apply current business practices to enhance program effectiveness
  • Develop and promote lessons learned and facilitate communication of outcomes across program locations
  • Recommend process improvements and streamlined methods to increase efficiency and service delivery
  • Identify functional areas for improvement, propose viable solutions, and assist in determining appropriate technical methodologies
  • Support coordination and attendance at conferences and training events to remain informed of National Guard Bureau (NGB) communications and updates to LSFRSs
  • Serve as Acting Program Manager in the absence of the Program Manager

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of all Transition Assistance Program activities, and services.
  • A strong understanding of family readiness programs, Financial Education programs
  • Interpersonal skills and team building skills to effectively take part in instructional duties for National Guard Family Readiness Program staff instruction
  • Knowledge of standing operating procedures and the ability to interpret guidance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Power Point, Excel, Word, Access
  • Shall ensure virtual and in-person classrooms meet safety, security, comfort, and hygiene standards
  • Strong organizational skills
  • All applicants shall possess interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields or a related field: counseling, behavioral/social science, HR management, or education
  • At least three years’ relevant experience managing, staffing, overseeing, and completing the same or similar work
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Pass an employer background check
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and must be able to drive a rental car

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree preferred with a strong training background utilizing the ADDIE methodology

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $135,000.00 annually.
