Job Description
The Quote Operations Specialist will serve as a critical execution partner to our Sales, Finance, and Order Management teams, owning the end-to-end quoting process within Salesforce CPQ. Operating in a high-urgency, fast-paced environment, this individual will be responsible for generating accurate and timely quotes across our human and veterinary lines of business, supporting both domestic and international customers in multiple currencies. Beyond core quote generation, this role encompasses contract pricing setup, clawback processing, price book management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure complex deals move through the quote-to-cash process efficiently. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, excels at managing competing priorities, brings exceptional attention to detail, and is eager to grow with the business - including contributing to product launch readiness and continuous process improvement initiatives.
As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:
  • Generate accurate, timely quotes in Salesforce CPQ while managing high volumes of inbound requests with a strong sense of urgency and prioritization.
  • Process clawbacks and adjustments within Salesforce CPQ, ensuring proper documentation throughout.
  • Review and facilitate the setup of contract pricing for customers with agreed-upon pricing terms.
  • Build and maintain price books in Salesforce for partner channels
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the quoting workflow and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Order Management to support the execution of complex deals involving hardware, software, and services.
  • Contribute to additional operational initiatives such as Master Data Management (MDM) and account validation activities ensuring data integrity.
Qualifications
Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience generating quotes within a CPQ tool, with demonstrated ability to manage complex quoting scenarios (hardware + software + services)
  • Hands-on experience creating and managing accounts, opportunities, and quotes in a CRM (preferably Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with the quote-to-cash process and an understanding of how quoting connects to downstream order management and finance workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority requests simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when working across complex pricing structures, multi-currency deals, and contract-specific terms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Finance, and Operations teams

Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it's ok if you don't!):
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ quoting, contract pricing setups, and price book management within the Salesforce CRM
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Adobe Acrobat/Editor, and Google Workspace
  • Previous experience in a start-up, scale-up, or high-growth healthcare or life sciences environment
