We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant team member to provide oversight of purchases, pricing realism, cost savings, and delivery tracking, Specifically, the successful applicant will meet the requirements below.
Technical & Skill Requirements
Candidates must be able to work with corporate purchasing and onsite production management to ensure a smooth flow of parts and subsystems for multiple programs.
Education Requirements:
- Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or other related fields.
- Experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
Desired Experience:
- 1-2 years in procurement, manufacturing management, construction, or other related industries.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Management software tools.
- Experience working with an engineering team to rapidly facilitate prototyping and aide in production planning.
- Day to day use of computer software (Microsoft Word, Power Point & Excel, time keeping systems).
- Experience in AS9100 operations and quality control processes.
Pay:
Experienced Purchasing Assistant will start $60,000 to $75,000 per year.
