Job description

Progyny is currently looking for an Associate Provider Account Manager to join our Provider Account Management team and play a key role in shaping the future of fertility and women's health care. In this role, you'll build strong partnerships with leading clinics across the U.S., ensuring seamless operations and exceptional experiences for providers and members. Collaboration and innovation are at the heart of what we do-and we're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This position requires 30% travel.


Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with business managers, key decision-makers, and clinical leadership.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable representative of Progyny at conferences, physician offices, employer meetings, and network webinars.

Operational Excellence

  • Create letters of agreement to contract individual services for members.
  • Manage escalations within your assigned territory to ensure timely, satisfactory resolution for both members and providers.
  • Oversee quality assurance for signed contracts to ensure accurate provider setup.
  • Implement and refine processes to promote timely filing and claims payments.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Maintain provider accounts, credentialing, and special projects with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Facilitate business and outcomes reviews with clinic leadership.
  • Collaborate with Analytics and Member Relations teams to ensure clinical outcomes are reported regularly to key stakeholders.

Education & Onboarding

  • Deliver comprehensive onboarding for practices, covering member intake, benefits, billing, reimbursement, provider portal, utilization management, and reporting.

About You

  • 3+ years in the fertility space with knowledge of reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and/or reproductive urology.
  • Problem Solver: You focus on creating solutions before reporting problems.
  • Highly Organized: Skilled at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-Oriented: Committed to accuracy and delivering client-ready work.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office and comfortable navigating complex systems.
  • Strong Communicator: Able to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Adaptable: Thrive in a growing role with shifting priorities and new projects.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • Travel: Ability for 30% travel via air travel.

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $80,000 - $95,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
