Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as aPrincipal Production Operations based out of ourSan DiegoRancho Carmel location.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Manage to a line of balance, oversee and/or guide root cause and corrective actions to closure.

  • Review status of projects and budgets

  • Manage schedules and prepare status reports.

  • Be responsible for interfacing with technical leadership, program management, engineering, production control, global supply chain, and production supervisors to ensure hardware modules are built within cost and budget while meeting operation build schedules.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor'sdegree preferred with a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience that includes a background in project management, supply chain, engineering or business; 3 years with MS degree; 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications to include advanced skills using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Strong Excel skills to include utilization of Pivot Tables.

  • Experience with EVMS processes.

  • Experience with MRP Knowledge.

  • Experience gathering, manipulating, and processing data.

  • Must have the ability to attain and maintain DOD Security clearance.

  • US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally.

  • Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with SAP, PDM, and/or MES Systems.

  • Experience reading engineering documentation, BOM Structures, and PLM tools.

  • Experience with operations processes including production, procurement, supplier management, material management and release, planning, quality processes, and work order management.

  • Demonstrated Process Improvement skills/abilities.

  • SharePoint experience.

  • Experience with Tableau.

  • CAM/EV Experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
