As VP Production Operations, you'll be at the forefront of our broadcast output, ensuring the seamless execution of live and on-demand productions, from planning and logistics to delivery. As VP Production Operations, you will define the production strategy and be accountable of the Production P&L, lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all production logistics across sports rights in North America. You will also support the global social media and news function on its operations. You will be responsible for dealing with federations/leagues, teams, technical suppliers, scheduling, resource management, technical workflows & transmission teams. This role is critical in ensuring live productions run smoothly, cost-effectively, and to world-class standards across the DAZN broadcast chain.
You'll work closely with internal stakeholders across production, editorial, technology, and operations to create scalable processes that align with DAZN's ambitious growth. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational detail, P&L accountability, Suppliers and partnership management, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels to ensure DAZN's content ecosystem performs at its very best.
*Salary Range: $170,000 - $200,000*

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Define DAZN's productions footprint in North America, while remaining consistent with DAZN's global approach.
  • Be innovative, always looking for new ways to broadcast, with a view to increasing engagement, both freemium and paid, and the value of DAZN's offering.
  • As a key player at DAZN in North America, participate in the strategic development of DAZN in North America.
  • Oversee all aspects of production operations including studio and remote production planning, budgeting, resourcing, and delivery
  • Collaborate closely with editorial, engineering, facilities, and external vendors to ensure smooth operational workflows
  • Develop and maintain production schedules across multiple time zones and territories
  • Manage production budgets and ensure financial controls, cost tracking, and reporting
  • Own relationships with key third-party suppliers and ensure service levels and performance meet DAZN’s standards
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, legal, and broadcasting regulations
  • Support live event readiness, ensuring all production assets, personnel, and systems are in place
  • Act as a bridge between local content teams in North America and DAZN's global operations.
What You'll Bring:
  • 10+ years' experience in international content operations, production operations within live sports broadcasting or high-volume production environments
  • Proven leadership and people management skills across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Editorial judgement in Sports content at Executive Producer level
  • Strong understanding of production workflows, technical systems, studio operations, and remote production models
  • Proven experience with budget management and cost-control systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, live environment with strong decision-making under pressure
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with scheduling, resource, and media asset management tools
