Warehouse & Production Operations Manager
Location: Oceanside, CA (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried
Join a Company That's Building Something Different
At CitroTech, we're redefining wildfire prevention through innovative, environmentally responsible fire protection technologies. Our products are designed to protect communities, critical infrastructure, and natural resources while minimizing environmental impact.
We're a startup with the momentum of a publicly traded company. We've earned industry recognition for our innovative chemistry and commitment to sustainability, and we're rapidly scaling manufacturing to meet growing demand across government, utility, industrial, and commercial markets.
This is an opportunity to join a growing company where your work will have a direct impact. Rather than inheriting years of rigid systems and bureaucracy, you'll have the opportunity to help build best-in-class manufacturing operations from the ground up. If you're someone who enjoys creating order from complexity, improving processes, and leaving things better than you found them, we'd love to meet you.
Does This Sound Like You?
You're the type of person who naturally sees opportunities to improve how things are done. You enjoy building systems that are organized, efficient, and scalable. When unexpected challenges arise, you don't wait for someone else to solve them—you figure out a path forward.
You thrive in fast-paced environments where every day is different, and you enjoy wearing multiple hats. You can shift from planning production schedules to unloading a truck, troubleshooting inventory discrepancies, improving warehouse layout, or implementing a new process without missing a beat.
Most importantly, you're excited by the opportunity to help build something. We're looking for someone who wants ownership—not just responsibility. Someone whose experience and ideas will shape how our manufacturing operation grows over the coming years.
What You'll Do
You'll lead day-to-day warehouse and production operations while helping establish the systems and processes that support our continued growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage domestic and international shipping and receiving operations
- Coordinate freight, logistics, and carrier relationships
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, reconciliation, and inventory control systems
- Plan raw material purchasing and production schedules to meet customer demand
- Supervise daily manufacturing activities and ensure production targets are achieved
- Lead and develop a small production and warehouse team
- Coordinate manufacturing work orders and production priorities
- Maintain complete batch records and product traceability
- Manage document control for manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and production records
- Implement and maintain engineering controls and standardized manufacturing processes
- Manage production equipment, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment readiness
- Support process validation and equipment qualification activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout manufacturing and warehouse operations
- Identify bottlenecks and implement practical solutions that improve safety, quality, and efficiency
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with engineering, R&D, purchasing, and leadership to support new product introductions and manufacturing improvements
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, production planning, or operations management
- Experience supervising manufacturing or warehouse personnel
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience with inventory management and production planning systems
- Comfortable working with ERP/MRP or inventory management software
- Strong understanding of manufacturing documentation and traceability
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience preferred
What Makes This Role Unique
This isn't a position where you'll simply follow established procedures.
We're looking for someone who enjoys creating those procedures.
As a growing startup, many of our systems are still evolving. You'll have the opportunity to improve warehouse organization, implement better inventory controls, streamline production planning, develop SOPs, recommend equipment improvements, and help shape the future of our manufacturing operation.
If you've ever thought, "I know a better way to do this," this role gives you the opportunity to make those improvements a reality.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary
- Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits
- PTO Offerings
- Opportunity to grow alongside a rapidly expanding public company
- High level of ownership and autonomy
- Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture
- Opportunity to make a visible impact every day
Compensation
Expected Salary Range: $95,000-$120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
