Talent Undiscovered is partnering with a well-established, industry-leading manufacturing organization in Orange County to identify an exceptional People Operations Manager.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced HR leader who enjoys being close to the business, influencing leaders, and building an exceptional employee experience. You'll support a manufacturing and distribution operation of more than 350 employees, partner directly with executive leadership, and lead a small HR team while driving strategic people initiatives across the organization.

What You'll Do

As the People Operations Manager, you will:

  • Serve as the trusted HR advisor to plant and business leaders.

  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute people strategies aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with California employment laws, wage and hour regulations, leave administration, and company policies.

  • Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development.

  • Build strong partnerships with staffing agencies and support hourly recruiting efforts.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture through employee engagement initiatives.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small HR team.

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and other HR Centers of Excellence.

  • Support employees across multiple locations and all three manufacturing shifts.

  • Analyze workforce data and recommend strategic HR solutions.

  • Participate in company-wide HR initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

What The Client is Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

  • 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.

  • Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment experience strongly preferred.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

  • Strong knowledge of California labor laws, wage and hour compliance, and leave administration.

  • Experience managing employee relations and workplace investigations.

  • Proven ability to coach leaders and influence at all organizational levels.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance employee advocacy and operational needs.

  • Experience leading or mentoring HR professionals.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
