PART-TIME PAYROLL SPECIALIST
DEPARTMENT: Auditor's Office
HIRING RANGE: $20/hour
BENEFITS OFFERED: No benefits offered
POSITION TO BE FILLED: ASAP
HOURS & DAYS OF WORK: Monday- Friday (Flexible hours 20-25 per week)
LOCATION OF POSITION: Administration Building Goshen, Elkhart County
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: None
JOB SUMMARY:
Compiles, audits, and tabulates employee time sheets to ensure the production and distribution of bi-weekly payroll and prepares appropriate reports to comply with paying statutory and non-statutory deductions; the focus is on records maintenance, data entry, or other details of public record.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• High school graduate or equivalent with previous training in record keeping and data entry specialized training preferred
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions and follow written and verbal instructions
• Must have a minimum 2 years related experience
• Knowledge and ability to operate general office equipment
• Good typing skills (50+ wpm preferred)
• Valid driver's license
