At Johnstone Supply | The Balsan Group, we're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Accounting Clerk to support our accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable and administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on accounting experience in a professional office environment.Position Details
💰 Pay: $20-$25/hour
Part-Time SchedulePosition Purpose
This entry-level role supports the accounting department with invoice processing, recordkeeping, and general administrative tasks. You will play an important part in helping ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time while keeping financial records organized and up to date.What You'll Be Doing
  • Assist with entering and processing vendor invoices into the accounting system
  • Review invoices for basic accuracy and proper documentation
  • Help maintain organized accounts payable files and records
  • Support payment processing (check runs, ACH) under supervision
  • Respond to basic vendor and internal inquiries or route appropriately
  • Assist with reconciling vendor statements and identifying discrepancies
  • Track and follow up on missing invoices or documentation
  • Perform general data entry and administrative support tasks
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor and payment records
Administrative Support
  • Sort and distribute AP-related mail and emails
  • Perform filing, scanning, and document organization
