Job description

The Part-Time File Clerk will be responsible for organizing and maintaining physical records to ensure efficient office operations.  Key duties include sorting documents, scanning paperwork, and maintaining confidentiality.  This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with office equipment.

Responsibilities & Duties:  Sort, classify, and file paperwork according to established systems.

Maintenance & Security:  Maintain file organization, purge outdated records, and ensure sensitive information is kept secure.

Office Support:  Assist with administrative duties like sorting mail or operating office equipment.  Answer phones as needed.

This position will be 3 days/week, 3 hours/day.  Additional hours may be added as needed.  Weekdays and times are flexible.

This role would be perfect for a part-time college student or a high school student.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to lift up to 30-35 pounds and perform tasks involving bending and stretching.
