Job description

Are you an Operations Supervisor with experience in aerospace or precision machining manufacturing? Do you enjoy improving throughput, reducing setup times, and leading teams in a high mix, low volume environment? Are you looking for an opportunity to influence automation, capital investment, and future operational strategy? If so, this opportunity may be the right next step for you.


As an Operations Supervisor, you will lead production areas including CNC Swiss machining, lathe automation, raw stock, and tool crib operations. Working closely with Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Production teams, you will drive performance, improve earned hours, and support improvement initiatives.


As the Operations Supervisor your responsibilities will include

โ€ข Leading daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.

โ€ข Managing production schedules, labour resources, and changing operational priorities.

โ€ข Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, setup reduction, and production flow.

โ€ข Supporting root cause investigations and resolving manufacturing, quality, and process issues.

โ€ข Collaborating with cross functional teams to improve machining processes, tooling, and operational performance.


As the Operations Supervisor you will bring

โ€ข BA degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

โ€ข Experience within aerospace, precision machining, or a regulated manufacturing environment.

โ€ข Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, engineering drawings, and dimensional inspection.

โ€ข Strong leadership skills

โ€ข Experience with Lean, RCCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and production data analysis.
