The Operator Supervisor oversees all day-to-day field operations for all operational routes. This includes providing direction and oversight to all employees to maintain high levels of efficiency and customer service. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to planning, directing and assignment of work, coaching and mentoring employees, providing counseling and/or discipline as necessary and exercises discretion and judgement when resolving operational complexities and employee complaints.
As the first-line supervisor for bus operators, customers, driver field evaluation, and accident first responders, the Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role. This position is safety-sensitive and requires respectful and professional communication with other Dispatchers, Bus Operators, and Supervisors. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for performing the duties of a Dispatcher and Road Supervisor and overseeing scheduling and administrative tasks. This role reports to the Director of Operations.

Salary : $2047.98 per pay period
Requirements:
โ€ข High School or GED required.
โ€ข Previous dispatch experience, preferred.
โ€ข Must be at least 21 years of age
โ€ข Must have a valid Class A/B Commercial Driver License, with passenger endorsements.
โ€ข Must demonstrate a stable work history.
โ€ข Driving records must not reflect moving violations within the last 3 years.
โ€ข Have a safe driving record with no DUI conviction during the past ten (10) years, verified by a third-party multi-state record check and no felony convictions for violent crimes.
โ€ข Criminal and Pre-Employment Background Record.
Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities:
โ€ข May assist with bus operator tracking system for bus operator performance and evaluations.
โ€ข Assists safety to proactively address questions and ensures proper handling of customer issues or concerns.
โ€ข Maintains transparent communication with all levels of the organization.
โ€ข Reviews and analyzes daily operational reports to ensure service goals are met.
โ€ข Maintains operational service levels by enforcing quality and customer service standards.
โ€ข Dispatches and coordinates the use of vehicle and driver resources to meet daily operational schedules
. โ€ข Prepares trip reservation assignments to operators.
โ€ข Assists with the schedule writing and maintaining accurate records.
โ€ข Assists, plans, and manages additional events that are required for operational services.
โ€ข Counts and completes daily receipts, cash if applicable and maintains accurate records.
โ€ข Reviews & analyzes road conditions, traffic flow, vehicle and driver availability.

โ€ข Responds to employee complaints and concerns and provides recommendations for disciplinary actions.
