Operations Specialist - Stratos Investment Management
Job Description:
The Stratos Investment Management (SIM) Operations Specialist supports the day-to-day operational processes of Stratos Investment Management. This role is responsible for opening new accounts, preparing and reviewing account documentation based on account type, and ensuring all materials are complete and ready for client signature. The SIM Operations Specialist is also expected to meet established service standards while contributing to a high-quality client and advisor experience.
Working closely with internal team members, the SIM Operations Specialist helps ensure operational tasks are completed accurately and within established timeframes. This role supports issue resolution, promotes consistency across processes, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts that enhance efficiency and scalability across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide operational support to financial advisors and asset management partners.
• Coordinate with custodians to open new accounts and manage related operational requests.
• Prepare, review, and process account documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to operational inquiries and support timely issue resolution.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Support departmental projects and other operational initiatives as assigned.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure daily work is completed within service-level expectations.
• Provide backup front desk support as needed.
• Two or more years of experience in the RIA industry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with custodial platforms such as LPL, Fidelity, and Schwab preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems preferred, including Salesforce.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and provide excellent service to financial advisors.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
