About the Opportunity  
   
We are looking to add a full time Operation Specialist to our operations department in Downtown LA Location. The Operation Specialist plays a crucial role in our shipping, receiving and inventory department, ensuring the accurate selection, preparation and timely shipment of Fashionphile products ensuring the safety and security of the contents along with regular shipping duties . This position involves preparing orders for shipment, generating shipping labels, verifying order components, and maintaining an organized area, and keeping track of inventory.The Operation Specialist will be held accountable  to meet daily and weekly productivity goals. Additional responsibilities include performing bi-annually Inventory cycle counts, pulling and storing product in inventory, and unloading and storage of supply orders for the shipping department. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.    
  • Prepare customer products for shipping and receiving based on company packaging guidelines
  • Create individual shipping labels for customer products
  • Unloading and storage of supply orders for the shipping department
  • Organize proper storage of merchandise to be stored on the shelves
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area within the department, including proper disposal of packaging materials
  • Conduct annual inventory
  • Upkeep of the inventory cage
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Other task as assigned
What We’re Looking For    
  • Prior retail or product handling experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40-50lbs
  • Ability to work in a production environment including standing 95% of the time
  • Ability to use a pallet jack
  • Ability to be detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to work some nights, weekends, or holidays with advance notice
  • Strong attention to detail to insure accuracy in shipping processes
  • Nice to Have: 
    • Prior experience operating a hand held device
    • Prior experience with independent work
    • Prior experience product handling high end luxury goods
    • Prior experience working with Single SKU  inventory / knowledge

Working hours are Monday - Sunday, 8am - 6:30pm shifts, with occasional overtime based on business demand and with prior notice. Shifts and days can rotate dependant on business needs.
 
Pay Rate: This position begins at $20.00/HR for all New Hires into FASHIONPHILE's Downtown LA location.
