Job description

Description:

St. Louis-based 80+-year-old manufacturing company is seeking an enthusiastic Contract & Sales Operations Specialist to provide support to the company’s Sales Department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the entire bid process from start to finish, including document preparation, submission, and follow-up.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all bids, contract renewals, and other contract-related matters.
    • Communicate with sales and marketing teams to gather required information and supporting documentation for bids and proposals.
  • Serve as the company’s pricing expert by managing/maintaining all price sheets, sales order forms, CRM pricing, and related pricing documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Coordinate and complete vendor registrations and vendor portal requirements.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for the sales department.
  • Prepare and provide accurate quotes and correspondence for customers as needed.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform as appropriate
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Exceptional verbal and written skills.
  • Prior contract and bid experience required.
  • Forward thinking, self-starter.
  • Willingness to take on responsibility.
  • A desire to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient experience in MS Outlook and MS Professional Office Suite.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience in CRM system preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related or technical field preferred.
