Operations Analyst Manager

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an OPERATIONS ANALYST MANAGER (Level K) to join our 777 Final Assembly Team's LSCC & ECAT Investigation Operations in EVERETT, WASHINGTON on 2nd Shift. This role is responsible for driving safe, compliant, and efficient shift execution while supporting throughput, operational performance, and cross-functional issue resolution. The selected leader will oversee daily operations, manage performance, ensure disciplined shift handoffs, and lead continuous improvement efforts that support business and production goals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day LSCC and ECAT Investigation operations on 2nd shift to meet throughput, accuracy, safety, quality, and on-time delivery targets
  • Direct shift execution by assigning and prioritizing work, monitoring performance, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring smooth handoffs across shifts
  • Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements
  • Monitor key performance indicators in real time, including throughput, cycle time, inventory accuracy, and error rates, and take corrective action as needed
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Fulfilment, Quality, Engineering, and 1st/3rd shift leaders to resolve operational constraints and support end-to-end execution
  • Lead response efforts for operational disruptions, safety events, and supply-related issues during the shift
  • Communicate status, impacts, and recovery actions to leadership and ensure appropriate documentation and follow-up
  • Drive continuous improvement activities using Lean and Kaizen methods to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency
  • Own 2nd shift operational reporting, including production summaries, exception reporting, handover notes, and trend analysis

Basic First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience with data analysis
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work 2nd shift, as required by this position
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)
